The full moon nearest the fall equinox is called the Harvest moon because of its brightness - it was said to have illuminated the farmers work of harvesting late into the night. Many of us may experience the powerful call of the moon - feeling restless, expressive, bursting, creative, fumbly or intense. An energetic difference may be noticed, in and around us. Sometimes it's best to lean in and listen to the wildness -
To try:
Lunar Infusion
Take 2 parts spearmint, 1 part chamomile, 1 part lemon balm, 1/2 part rose petals, pinch stevia. Place herbs in an open container, fill with water and position directly in the path of the moon. In the words of one of my favorite herbalists, Rosemary Gladstar "Lunar tea is subtle and magical" For me, taking the time for this ritual helps me to gain perspective in all matters.
What we are harvesting these days is very exciting - Preparing for the change in seasons and upcoming holidays... so many new products and launches to come....
